The HubSpot MCP Server is HubSpot's hosted, official Model Context Protocol endpoint for Smart CRM data, reachable at https://mcp.hubspot.com and authorised with OAuth 2.0 — there is no package to install and no token to paste into a config file. Access is scoped by a HubSpot user-level app: you create one with read (and optionally write) scopes for the CRM objects you want an assistant to reach, then complete the OAuth flow from inside your client. Read and write coverage spans contacts, companies, deals, tickets, carts, products, orders, line items, invoices, quotes, subscriptions and lists, plus engagements — calls, emails, meetings, notes and tasks — and the associations between them. Organisational context (users, teams, reporting structures, owners, roles, seats) and marketing content (campaigns and their metrics, landing pages, website pages, blog posts) are read-only. Custom Sensitive Data Properties and Personal Health Information are excluded regardless of scopes. Two other things share the name and are commonly confused with this one: the Developer MCP server, installed locally with `hs mcp setup` from the HubSpot CLI and aimed at building HubSpot apps rather than querying CRM records, which requires Developer Platform v2025.2; and the original May 2025 public beta, an npm package configured with a private-app access token, which is what most third-party setup guides still describe. The server remains in beta and HubSpot advises experimenting in a developer sandbox and reviewing every write confirmation, since an LLM will occasionally propose a change to a system of record that it should not.

Installation

The current answer for working with CRM data is a hosted remote server at https://mcp.hubspot.com, authorised with OAuth against a user-level app. Separately there is a Developer MCP server, installed locally through the HubSpot CLI with `hs mcp setup`, whose job is helping you *build HubSpot apps* — not query contacts. And there is the original May-2025 public beta, an npm package configured with a private-app access token; that is the version nearly every blog post still copies, and it is not what HubSpot documents today.
Connecting to the HubSpot MCP server
1.Decide which server you actually need
CRM data — contacts, companies, deals, tickets, engagements? Remote server, below. Building or debugging a HubSpot app, project or UI extension? That is the Developer MCP server: `npm i -g @hubspot/cli` then `hs mcp setup`, which prompts you to pick your agentic tools. It requires Developer Platform v2025.2. The two are not substitutes for each other.

Access is controlled by a HubSpot user-level app and its scopes, and this is the step that decides what the agent can touch. Grant read scopes for the CRM objects you want reachable and nothing else — the app, not the client, is your blast-radius control.
3.Add the endpoint to your client and complete OAuth
The endpoint is the bare host, https://mcp.hubspot.com — with no /mcp path. (Verified: a POST to the root returns 401 with `WWW-Authenticate: Bearer resource_metadata="https://mcp.hubspot.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource"`, while /mcp returns 404. If your client reports "not found" rather than an auth prompt, you have a path on the end.)

HubSpot's own beta guidance is to experiment in a developer sandbox or other non-production account, and to read every write confirmation prompt rather than clicking through it: "LLM's are prone to hallucination, always review when prompted for permission to use an MCP tool that makes changes to your account." A CRM is a system of record; a hallucinated deal-stage update is a real one.
What the remote server can reach
HubSpot documents this as data surface rather than a fixed tool list, and says the accessible types will increase over time as more MCP tools ship. The read/write versus read-only split is the part worth planning around.

Brief yourself before a call
“Find the contact for this email address, list their open deals with stage and amount, and summarise the last five engagements in date order.”
Reads across objects, engagements and associations in one pass — exactly the join that is slow to do by clicking.
Log the call afterwards
“Log a call engagement on that contact with these notes, then create a follow-up task for Thursday and associate both with the open deal.”
Writes are the point of the write scopes; the association step is what keeps the record useful later.
Pipeline hygiene
“List deals in the Proposal stage with no engagement in the last 21 days, with owner and amount. Do not change anything.”
A read-only prompt against read-only scopes is the safest way to get value out of this server on day one.
Which one should you use?
HubSpot/mcp-server (the beta repo)
Historical. The repo exists and the npm package @hubspot/mcp-server is still published, but it is the developer-platform server; for CRM work the hosted endpoint is the documented path.
Salesforce
The same job in the other CRM. If you are choosing between them for an agent, the deciding factor is usually which one your org already runs, not the MCP surface.
Airtable
When "CRM" is really a table you own. Airtable over MCP gives full field-level read/write with no scope model to negotiate, and no sensitive-property exclusions.

Browserbase MCP Server
Browserbase MCP and Stagehand MCP are the same server under two names, and this catalog lists both because people search for both — this page is the platform view, /servers/stagehand covers the natural-language automation layer that runs inside it. What Browserbase supplies is the browser itself: a headless Chrome session running in Browserbase's cloud rather than on the machine your agent is on, which is the reason to use it at all. The session is a real, addressable browser with its own residential-proxy and stealth configuration and a recorded replay you can watch afterwards, so an agent's browsing survives being run from a datacenter IP, and a failed run is debuggable after the fact instead of being a black box. Nothing renders on the developer's machine, so a long-running agent is not tied to a desktop staying awake. Browserbase's recommendation is the hosted server at https://mcp.browserbase.com/mcp over streamable HTTP — they operate it and absorb the model inference that the instruction-following tools require. Clients without HTTP transport connect via npx mcp-remote https://mcp.browserbase.com/mcp. Self-hosting installs @browserbasehq/mcp-server-browserbase from npm and needs BROWSERBASE_API_KEY and BROWSERBASE_PROJECT_ID from your dashboard. Six tools are exposed — start and end for session lifecycle, navigate, act, observe and extract — and they are documented in detail on the Stagehand entry, because the act/observe/extract trio is Stagehand's model rather than Browserbase's. One thing to know before self-hosting: the browserbase/mcp-server-browserbase repository was archived on 2026-07-20 and its README now says it is kept for historical reference and should not be read as representative of the current production service. The npm package still installs and the star count on this page belongs to that archived repo; the hosted endpoint is the path Browserbase actually maintains.
