There is no official `mistralai/mcp-server` repo — Mistral AI does not currently publish a first-party MCP server. The most complete real alternative is the community-maintained `mistral-mcp` package (Swih/mistral-mcp, MIT-licensed, published to npm), which exposes the full Mistral API surface as MCP tools, resources, and prompts rather than just chat completions.
